Linux is a freely available Unix-like operating system for 386 and above PCs.

The Sarnia Linux User Group (SLUG) was founded by four Linux users having coffee in a local pub and a phone call to Paul Anderson who posted it on some Linux news groups. And, well there we have the Sarnia Linux Users Group!

Although currently small, new, and more than a little unorganized, it is our goal to bring a better awareness of this powerful operating system to all who participate.

This web page will be updated periodically with what's new in the Linux world, upcoming club projects and the what's what that occurs at our meetings.
